I'm having a friendly argument with a friend of mine, so I'm asking help to settle this. Who had more talent around them throughout their careers, Brady or Peyton? Talking about on the offensive side of the ball only.

Incredibly tough to gauge, because how do you measure if Harrison and Wayne were great WR's, or were a product of the guy throwing them the ball?

Either way, any talent discrepancy is offset by Belichick vs Tony Dungy and Jim Caldwell

One way to gauge though is where the players were drafted. I understand there are tons of 1st-round flops or late-round steals. But I think this is a good starting point. Manning had tons of 1st-round pick receivers, running backs and offensive linemen around him, while Brady typically didn't get many of those.

Theres' a lot of ways to go with this......No coincidence that Bradys' best season came when he was throwing it to the best WR of all time (arguably)........And there are a few WR's who had their worst seasons playing with Brady, like a Jabar Gaffney or Brandon Lloyd.......Mostly because a certain type fits the Brady system...

Who gives a fuck about HGH boy? He's retired. Can't we focus upon how badly Rodgers shit the bed yesterday? Peyton was lucky to tie his brother.

If Rodgers is on the field, Ryan isn't.

The missed FG and the white fat guy fumbling, that game would have been 10-10 and we might have gotten the great one we expected

Rodgers sucked.

If Brady had that game you'd be launching a shit-fest about him.

Manning, though I think Brady's made more guys stars than Manning.

Rodgers didn't shit the bed, the Packers defense played absolutely horribly.

Eh it's toss up. Brady had the better collective o-line but Manning had Jeff Saturday. And he was named after the most badass day on Earth.

Don't worry, this is a fanbase that blames a defense for losing a SB 17-14, but doesn't blame a defense that gives up 44 points, and forces one punt all day

Why are we talking about Rodgers and the Falcons on this thread?

Because the answer to the thread is obvious, it's Manning.

Manning had 2 of the greatest WR's of all time, then he had Stokely, Welker, Damarius Thomas, he had Edggerin James, he had Dallas Clark, he's had an immense amount of weapons.

You can't even name Brady's WR's half of the time, look at Hogan last night for example, who the fuck is that guy?

His best player, he's ever had Gronk goes down with injuries constantly.

He's only had one elite receiver his whole career (Gronk's a TE), and he only had him for two years and in only one of the years was he any good and that's Moss.

Welker was a scrub before he went to the Pats, was a decent role player with the Phins, then Brady/Bellicheck made him what he was and he continued that success in Denver.

Sorry if I spelled a bunch of the names wrong, I blame the parents of the players for giving their children fucked names.
