Bradford tears ACL?

---It was not a great day for St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford. His first pass of the day on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers was returned 45 yards for a touchdown by Panthers defensive back Captain Munnerlyn, and Bradford was injured in the fourth quarter as he was running to the sideline. Bradford went down in pain, couldn’t put any weight on his left leg and was carted to the locker room. An MRI Sunday night revealed that injury to be a torn left ACL, per several reports.

So this means we'll be most likely facing Kellen Clemens as the Rams QB on MNF.

I'm liking our chances in this game....

It seems they are pushing these players to use deep 1" cleats on the slick fields and when they stick, they really stick.

Still a long shot, but it looks like the Rams aren't going to have a lot of options to pick from for available QBs.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher said there was a chance that the Rams would sign a pair of quarterbacks in response to the season-ending knee injury suffered by Sam Bradford.

Fisher must know somebody in management because that’s just what the Rams are doing. Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the team has signed Austin Davis and agreed to terms with Brady Quinn to fill out a depth chart currently fronted by Kellen Clemens.

Davis spent 2012 as the third quarterback in St. Louis and spent this summer with the Rams as well before being cut after Clemens won the battle for the backup spot. Quinn was cut by the Jets on Monday when they activated David Garrard, which turned out to be pretty good timing for the journeyman given Bradford’s injury.

Clemens hasn’t started a game since 2011.

I was only half serious; it was a pot shot at Bradford. I think he's is terrible. He's captain check down. He's a poor man's Alex Smith IMO.
