Bradford done, how far do the Rams players fall?

Personally I'm taking any and all Rams OFF my board entirely. O on top of this, now Thera talk that Bennie Cunningham will be stealing carries from Stacy..A headache I chose to stay away from.

If anything, this may increase the RB stock, even if it does become a time-share.

I've been waiting on Brian Quick since drafting him as a rookie. Was a really big fan of his coming out and well, I was a big Bradford fan too. But now... ugh. It might be time to pull the plug and let that dream die.

To me. . The usage will probably go up, but production will go down, especially scoring opportunities.

Shuan Hill did okay in Detroit with Calvin... he's got nothing close to similar here. I just can't see a decent fantasy season there. . Unless Hill is a Rich Gannon revisited

I've never figured much for Bradford and in all honesty he seems like a good kid and I was hoping he'd prove me wrong. It sucks to see him out like this again. I was avoiding him and the Rams before the injury but I do like their talent on defense.

Shaun Hill has actually been a decent QB his entire career. He did so in SF and kept Detroit in plenty of games when he was there. Obviously he's no top QB, but he's smart and can still chuck it. I don't think the Rams do any worse with him at the helm.

He was pretty bad early but got better and better as he got more experienced. (Maybe he'll be amazing now in year thirteen!)

As a Bills fan, I try to avoid mocking quarterbacks. That said, the only Ram I would have considered is the RB and even he would have to fall to the third for me to consider him. Hill doesn't make me lower Britt though... actually, it probably rises him a bit since back ups aren't the type to "spread it around", and he's the only WR I'd consider.

As a starter, in 3 combined seasons he threw for 34 TDs and 22ints for almost 5,000 yds. I think this just proves that he has no problem moving the rock.

I'm not saying I want him as my QB, but I don't see the players around him falling off, if at all. They'll get their opportunities, especially with a good D behind him.

It might mean a fairly conservative game plan, especially in the early weeks, which might mean a boatload of Stacy.

I really don't think it matters that much for the skill players. Stacy was awesome last year after Bradford went down, and Britt may benefit from garbage time production if they are playing from behind.

Also, it is not like we are talking about Aaron Rodgers here. Bradford is solid, but his loss is survivable.

Son of a bitch won me a superbowl that year. I sat Warner against the Pats and played him against (I don't remember) and he had a damn good game! That said, I think my Rams are gonna be hurtin.........I really like Michael Sam (no, not like that) and I'm glad we drafted him.

I know it's been mentioned but Stacey did most of his damage after Sammy Boy was gone last year. Fantasy wise, not sure it's gonna matter a whole lot for Stacey.................didn't see the game but who threw Givens his TD?

thats all undeniable, but lets be real about the whole thing though..he was 28, 29 and 30 those three seasons (undeniably the "prime" of an athlete's career unless they're on drugs--sorry Bonds and Clemens but it's true), getting progressively better (it seems) with playing time. Now he's 34, will be 35 by season's end, and hasn't started a game in 4 years, hasn't had even a meaningful appearance since 2012.
And in those three seasons he had supporting casts consisting of Isaac Bruce, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, and most notably, Calvin Johnson.
Where's his Frank Gore? Zac Stacy? not likely. Where's his veteran, dependable WR? Britt, Givens or Quick? Not even close. Where's that electric TE? Kendricks? I dunno, kinda sorta maybe.
This kind of goes to the whole does the QB make the WR or does the WR make the QB debate, but since I feel it takes the both of them to be anything better than "meh", I"m not buying into HIll being all that great, and likewise, none of the receiving options will be very darned good either.

I'm not saying oh doom and gloom, StL. may as well just raise the white flag here, but the prospects for fantasy success are awfully long.

As to Stacy, up until this weekend, I had been one of his supporters, I guess. Wasn't big on him, but I wasn't one of those buying into the whole Tre Mason stealing his job stuff either. But I could care less what a coach says, if he puts another guy into the starting lineup of week 3 of the preseason, it's not "just to see how it looks", there's something wrong there, and I don't' think Jeff Fisher has much confidence in Stacy. There's coachspeak, and then there's real evidence..I"m not touching Stacy unless he falls, and falls hard. I'm talking about past the likes of Tate, Richardson, and Miller and into the area of MJD, DMC, Ridley, etc.

I'm not likely to get him either since he now is in the mid-level RB2 territory on my board. BUT he's still above TRich & DMC for me. ..... oh wait, he'd have to be on IR to get below them. ....

It could also be that Bradford and Stacy didn't see eye to eye, and Fisher was making a show of support for his QB. Or Fisher could have been sending Stacy a wake up call. Hell, I've got too much invested in Stacy now, so I'll look at all the speculation. As far as Britt goes, he's the number one WR on the Rams and still has a boatload of talent when he can stay on the field. I think Hill can be serviceable enough to get the ball to him. The talk about sharing time is bothersome, but I don't think Cunningham is anything special, and from what I've read, Mason still has a lot to learn.

Shoot, I don't know, but I'll take the optimistic outlook: Stacy becomes the workhorse.

Yeah...that works for me. ;)

I would probably take Givens totally off any board (assuming a deep league) but I honestly dont think itll have a massive impact on the rest of the guys.

What are your guys' thoughts on the Rams Defense???

It worries me that their offense could struggle without Bradford, which would put their defense out on the field more during the games. Could really wear on them down the stretch.
