Brenden Morrow and a 3rd to Pit for Joe Morrow and a 5th. Well there is a good comp for Clowe's value. Pretty much what's expected, a high end prospect or a 1st.

Not knowing anything about how good that kid going to Dallas is, I like the deal for Pittsburgh. I always liked Morrow and felt like he was underrated/under-appreciated. I've read the comparisons to Clowe all over twitter but, to me, Morrow is way better than Clowe... /shrug

we can only hope soo... remember 2 offseasons ago everyone was saying how dumb philly was for unloading their stars, maybe it will happen again. And couturier hasnt been putting up shit for numbers this season so lets hope!

I don't understand Boyle to Philly. Doesn't Demers or Braun make more sense for them? And I loved watching Briere growing up, but unless they are trying to save money because of his low salary the next two years, I don't get that type of deal for the sharks. Similar Cap hits and Briere will be 36 next year. Hopefully if a trade goes down with them it brings back one of their younger forwards.



Agree with Cmon regarding TMac. I don't see Wilson letting him go at this point. I would think he has the season to see what happens and then DW will"reset and retool" in the offseason.

B. Morrow at one time was better than Clowe. Now I'd give the edge to Clowe.

Yeah, gotcha RE: Joe Morrow, that's what I was reading. That makes the deal a lot more "even" then... both sides got what they wanted and they'll be happy, sounds like.

RE: B. Morrow vs. Clowe and edge to Clowe right now... wow, really? I'll have to watch some Pens games now, I guess.. haven't seen Dallas play much this year but I can't imagine many people in the league being worse/more useless than Clowe so B. Morrow must be REALLY bad all of a sudden or something. Hah!

His play has gone down hill a lot the last couple years. Even with his poor play this year Clowe's brought more positives to the table than Morrow.
