Okay, on paper Maryland should feast on this cupcake...
Just like they feasted on FAU, right?
Like any cupcake, Boston U has absolutely nothing to lose tomorrow. They're coming off 3 straight losses, but 2 were OT and they lost to Harvard, to last year's MEAC reg season champ in Norfolk St, and to our buds at GW.
Three things in MD's favor
Boston U is a small (starting) team, they struggle with TOs, and they haven't been killing it from 3 pt land.
If Smo and Layman are hitting from the perimeter, MD could win easily. If we force them to jack 3s, all the better.
They run a 7/8 man rotation (3 Srs), 3 guys avg 10+ per game, 2 guys over 40% 3pt avg.
Lost by 17 to UConn (so were we until THE RALLY), but were beating GW at the 10 min mark of the 2nd half.
and the random fact, Spinelli played 3 years at Boston U.
