See, the greatest sports announcer of the past centry (debatable, although I think he won an award for it) Vin Scully could get aways with saying that. Vin also would say he remembers when his dad had to brave the back alleys of Hong Kong to buy some insulin on the black market for his child and then spend the next 6 weeks in the bowels of a merchant ship on it's way back to the US to deliver it to his son.

So before we tear Steiggy down, at least know there is a place in sports for human interest stories during the course of the game. As Harry Doyle would say, 'He's not the best color man in the business for nothing, folks."

Wait, he's doing play by play?

Man, I'm hungry, but you deserve this :pizza: more than I do.

I think there is a place for human interest stories and I am personally interested. However, Steiggy does it in the middle of play. This might not irritate me as much if he didn't miss a goal call approximately 1/4 games because he is too busy telling dumb stories. Mike Lange does a great job integrating them. Doc is also pretty good. Not saying there isn't a place, but Steiggy just told us that fact alone. There was nothing more to the story.

Neal is channeling Carter-in-Philly with that empty net failure.

Haha, Fleury just looked at Crosby like, "What the hell, dude?"

Much as I dislike McGuire, he's right, Lindback looks like he's ready to shatter.

Of course as I type this Payat gets a goal off his face.

Neither goalie is looking great, though you can't really fault Fleury on that last one.
