IIRC, a few years ago they were demanding one million dollars plus half of ticket sales and concessions to play a top team on the road, and then released a press statement claiming no one would schedule them because they were afraid of BSU.

Yea. They need to be careful. The big boys are talking behind closed doors about blasting away from the NCAA. If Barry Alvarez is into that idea, I have to imagine that a lot of people are, because he's a traditionalist compared to a lot of them. There are plenty of scenarios that could see Boise State on the outside looking in.

Both Alvarez and Saban have talked about that. Which is bad for BSU (and others), because if the B1G and SEC are on board then nothing else matters.

Think it's a good idea. College football has become too watered down with the Boise states and northern Illinois'.
