As much as I would love Bobby Ryan here. I think the majority of us realize a top tier defenseman is more critical at this point. That being said, if Ryan gets dealt, I hope to god he doesn't go to the Rags, Pens, Sabres, or the Caps. Any rumors floating around with the Flyers going after any defensemen?

lots of word coming out that the flyers are dangling JVR, a 1st and more for ryan. seems stupid in my opinion. ryans great and i'd love him here..but that would essentially be trading 30-35 goals a year with JVR (hopefully) to similar production from ryan. ryan's more expensive and we'd lose a 1st rounder and possibly more. just seems kinda dumb to move all that and not really improve that dramatically. not to mention with so much overhaul this offseason, trading one of the core guys that stayed just makes things shaken up even more. idk..

something like schenn, a 1st and a 3rd might not be a bad move though.

No way do you trade Shenn. He will be better then Ryan. I would seriously think about JVR and a first.
