Um... maybe. I'd like to see some other proposals as well.

Hell no, I rather a formula than people being able to pick the wrong teams. I have seen way too many teams get skrewed over by selection commites. I don't wan't committes anywhere near college football.

I'm with you - computers don't understand politics.

I think there should be a combination of the two. I think the BCS will work if they give more weight to the computers and include MOV.

Last year LSU baseball didn't make it into the tournement because the main guy is the Mississippi State member that has a hissy fitt when it comes to LSU baseball. LSU didn't have a great year, but they were good enough to make it in the tournement and they SWEPT Cal State Fullerton who was a top 8 seed.... So thats the kind of stuff you deal with when you get committes involved.

too easy for bias to come into play with a small number of people. People aren't even considering how bribes and other outside influences can occur.

Should be a rule. If you can't speak without your fake teeth falling out of your mouth, or you have to slurp up your saliva every 3 seconds you shouldn't be on the committe and especially not a tv comentator.
