Bob Welch passes away

[Band of Brothers]

I can remember watching him in his showdown with Reggie Jackson in the 1978 WS on my little black and white TV in my room. A awesome moment for a 21 yr old striking out the future Hall of Famer.

He went 27-6 in 1990 which is unreal and that was as a 3rd starter for the A's. Wow 27 wins.

3 Time WS Champion.

I am not a Dodgers or A's fan but I have total respect for what Welch did in MLB. He was a damn good pitcher.

Rest in Peace Bob Welch.

You could make a case he should be in the Hall of Fame. But it's harder for pitchers.

I lean no on him, but it's close.
