I think we all agree that Dee Milliner is the best CB in this class but after him I think it comes down to the old cliche, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" as Teams opt for players that best fit their scheme. I like Xavier Rhodes but I think he will eventually end up at FS as he is a little tight in the hips. But that's just my opinion. You can look at 3 different rankings and see 3 different player ranked in the 2nd position. I think anyone saying that there is a true consensus is just offering their opinion and we all know what they say about people and opinions.

ESPN/Scounts Inc.
1. Dee Milliner

Like the WR rankings, it's pretty up in the air. No two top 5 lists will be the same.

I was offering my opinion. I was stating what I thought, which was based on what i have read, which have Trufant and Rhodes consistently above the other corners and almost always in the top 5. I'm sure you have your list based on what you read/watch. I don't have a problem using ESPN rankings, I was just surprised that Rhodes was listed outside the top 5.

I'm not trying to argue with you, I've just noticed that over the years ESPN/Scout's Inc. has had a pretty accurate record of where a player is ranked and where they are eventually drafted. But of the links you listed, any site that has the Bengals selecting Justin Hunter with the 21st pick is alright in my book!

My vote is for Ed Lacy.

Though I can see them going for a WR to replace Jennings but they haven't had a bell cow RB since Ahman Green was in his prime.

If they go offense, it's Lacy, but they badly need to repair the defense.

43. Kevin Minter* ILB 5'11¾" 246 LSU (up 3 spots

I was tempted to go Lacy, but I believe their defense has more urgent need. They did get rid of Erik Walden, their worst defensive player, who was signed away by the Colts. Minter will be a huge upgrade, though he is a bit of a reach according to the Espn list.

I'm hearing, just rumors of course, that teams are concerned about Patterson and he's falling, but it could be a team trying to de-value him. I really really like Hopkins, so I would say one of the two of them.

Are you hearing the same thing about Keenan Allen?

I haven't heard that he's dropping necessarily, though he didn't run a very good time at his pro day. With Patterson, the rumors involve concern over his lack of experience and maturity. With Allen, I think it's just fluctuations in value as related to the other receivers. As guys like Hopkins rise, Allen falls a little.
