Do you think Taylor is a better CB or do you think he was brought in for a workout? I think its possible the Vikings just brought him in for a visit because they expect him to be available, i don't think it necessarily means they would draft him over Xavier Rhodes though. Also, I agree about them waiting to take a WR with their next pick.

To be honest I like them both. Rhodes is a tall CB with speed who can defend the against the bigger WRs in the League but he's a little stiff in the hips and may be better suited to play free safety while Taylor is smaller, standing under 6 ft, but he's fast, fluid with great anticipation who's versatile enough to slide inside to cover the slot in nickle packages. I like them both but I think Rhode success with be based more upon the scheme that he's in while Taylor doesn't have those limitations.

Colts have Vonte Davis, signed Greg Toler, also re-signed Darius Butler. Don't see them going CB in the 1st.

1. Vontae Davis missed 6 games last Season due to injury and hits the Free Agency Market next Year as the Colts did not sign him to a new contract after they traded for him.

2. Darius Butler is working on his 3rd team in 3 years, so I doubt anyone other than you believes he's the answer.

3. Greg Toler? Who?! Exactly!

Team Needs:
Right Tackle: The Colts have to upgrade Andrew Luck's protection. Winston Justice, a free agent, was constantly on and off the field because of various injuries last year. Signed Gosder Cherilus

Cornerback: Indianapolis has multiple cornerbacks set to hit free agency. All of them struggled across from Vontae Davis. Signed Greg Toler; re-signed Darius Butler

Nose Tackle: Antonio Johnson's contract is up, but he was playing out of position anyway. Indianapolis will have to consider Johnathan Jenkins at No. 24 overall this April. Signed Aubrayo Franklin

Rush Linebacker: Dwight Freeney will be hitting the free-agent market, but he didn't exactly transition comfortably into the 3-4. Jerry Hughes, meanwhile, has yet to prove that he's nothing more than a marginal talent. Luckily, this upcoming draft class is deep at the rush linebacker position. Signed Erik Walden and Lawrence Sidbury

Two Guards: Here's more help up front. Starting guards Mike McGlynn and Jeff Linkenbach were both brutal last year. Signed Donald Thomas; tendered Jeff Linkenbach

Defensive End: Indianapolis has to make another upgrade on its defensive line. Signed Ricky Jean-Francois; re-signed Fili Moala

Free Safety: Tom Zbikowski isn't very good. Joe Lefeged did OK in relief late in the year, but I'm not sure he has what it takes to be a starter. Signed LaRon Landry

Wide Receiver: Donnie Avery is a free agent, but the Colts already needed a more reliable tertiary receiver to complement Reggie Wayne and TY Hilton. Signed Darrius Heyward-Bey

Allen ran a bad pro day and probably dropped himself more than this. Though They could still take him if they like him. I see ILB, CB or DT going here.

It's "HIS" VOTE! It's his opinion what "HE" believes they will do. And didn't you just say you don't think they'll take a CB in the 1st Rd?! Do you even pay attention to half the shit you write?

I just use the list provided. Don't keep up with who did this or that on their pro day. Don't have time for that. I do check PFF premium stats to help me decide on team's needs. The Vikes lost Percy Harvin and replaced him with Greg Jennings. They have no other receiver who performed decently, making receiver a position of need in my opinion. Therefore my choice was the top receiver left on August's list, Keenan Allen. I stand by my choice.

You know this is the vote for Minnesota so what I think the Colts will do is irrelevant. What does me thinking the Colts won't take a CB have to do with me thinking the Vikings will?

And you give your opinion on other peoples votes, I can give mine. I was just letting him know something he might not have known.

I disagree that his run hurt him much. His game isn't predicated on beating people with speed. If a team is looking at him, they aren't doing it because he's fast.

I like Hopkins more than Allen, but I'd say either is a good possibility here, along with Rhodes, who probably won't last this long in the actual draft, and would be a steal here.

You're right, I made a mistake confusing the two picks and I'm Man enough to admit it. But here's the difference between you and I, I'm not dismissive and critical of others who have an opinion that differ from my own. Instead I attempt to validate other's opinions while engaging them in an effort to foster a conversation. Case in point, I agreed with UNC's opinion that CB would probably be Minnesota's first pick but relayed to him that I believe the player, ultimately chosen, would be different. He asked a follow up question and I offered my opinion about the two players in question. Another point is when I agreed with Crash's believe that they could also take a MLB and then asked if they wouldn't hold off to ensure getting a higher ranked player as a position of need, not to start an argument but to get his opinion. If you can't tell the difference in tone and tenor between your posts and mine then maybe being a writer isn't the best profession for you.

I'm thinking they go for a CB too but I read that the one they like is Jamar Taylor, from Boise State, as they brought him in for a visit. I also agree with you that they're looking at WR as they brought in both Keenan Allen and DeAndre Hopkins...

I can see them going with a MLB to replace Jasper Brinkley but let me ask you this?

I like how you leave out the part where I said they could still take him if they like him. Way to leave out the part that proves I'm not dismissive.

Any team who starts Mike McGlynn at guard needs a guard. Actually they need to add enough guards to safely eliminate any chance McGlynn would stick at all, much less start......
