I guess Barkley looked impressive at his pro day today. Shoulder felt fine and expects to be 100% with no limitations whatsoever for whoever drafts him.

He said the ideal system for him is a pro-style WCO. He has run that type of system for 8 years including high school, so that is the system he can learn and be most comfortable in.

Not sure how that translates to Buffalo as I am unaware of what kind of offense Marrone plans on implementing up there.

Not everyone was all that impressed. I've read reports that after about 30 throws his arm strength started to slip and WRs started having to slow down to catch the ball. They said pretty much any vertical passing team has taken him off their board completely.

It was also his first real practice since the surgery, so you expect some fatigue when considering he didn't have too much of an issue at USC going down field when needed.

Besides, in a game situation, you are not throwing 30 balls in a row at a fast pace, because you have defense, running plays, etc.

I don't take too much stock in it, as he is coming back from shoulder surgery, and it took until 30 throws for that to start fatiguing his arm, something that will not be occuring during game situations on Sunday's.

I honestly don't care the reasoning because the Bengals aren't taking him, I'm just telling you what was reported. Entire teams are taking him off their board. A lot of teams didn't like what they seen.

You two are a trip. I'm almost convinced you're the same person. It's gold, though.

Carry on.

Overall a pretty good mock but I just don't see Philadelphia taking a CB with the 4th overall pick. Though I do believe Miliner will go in the top 10 but just not to Phili. I honestly think the draft is going to turn out more like this......

1. Kansas City - Luke Joeckel* OT 6'6" 306 Texas A&M
2. Jacksonville - Geno Smith QB 6'2⅜" 218 West Virginia
3. Oakland - Sharrif Floyd* DT 6'2⅝" 297 Florida
4. Philadelphia - Star Lotulelei DT 6'2½" 311 Utah
5. Detroit - Eric Fisher* OT 6'7¼" 306 Central Michigan
6. Cleveland - Dee Milliner* CB 5'11⅞" 201 Alabama
7. Arizona - Lane Johnson* OT 6'6" 303 Oklahoma

How many days are you planning to be upset about the Philly pick?

My vote is for DE Dion Jordan.

I've gone back and forth with this pick, I could see them going for a WR but with their switch to a 4-3 defense they need a pass rusher to fit in that system. They will probably move former 1st Round picks Muhammad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples to DT and LE respectively but they need a speedy RE who can rush the passer.

Ziggy Ansah -- I agree that NYJ will be searching for a pass rusher. I think Rex can't pass up Ziggy here.

Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah

This is a hard one, because the Jets honestly need a new team. They have holes at every position on the field.

I just think Star is too good to pass up right here, which allows them to keep Coples on the outside. I don't know...I had a hard time between Ansah and Lotulelei.

I can't see the Jets going WR here, and especially not one who's strictly a slot guy. They would take Patterson if they take WR. I think they go defense though, and take Ziggy Ansah.
