Fedor Tyutin is expected to be back and Jeremy Morin should be making his Jackets debut. And just to make me all the more excited for it, Morin skated with Chaput and Tropp yesterday at practice.

Sounds like Anklebiter will be back for the Wings. That lil sumbitch always eats us alive. Dekyser should be back too.

Per nhl.com -

Two players will return from injury for Detroit (17-7-7), which has lost three in a row.

Right wing Justin Abdelkader missed seven games with a separated shoulder and defenseman Danny DeKeyser sat out two games with an upper-body injury.

However, right wing Johan Franzen won't play Tuesday because he has the flu.

Franzen and left wing Tomas Tatar sat out practice on Monday with the flu. But Tatar is well enough to play.

"I didn't feel good before the Toronto game (Saturday) and after I had a little flu," Tatar said.

The Red Wings placed forward Stephen Weiss on short-term injured reserve (seven days) in order to create a roster spot and keep defenseman Xavier Ouellet on the team for now. Weiss (shoulder separation) isn't eligible to come off IR until Saturday.


Abs, DeKeyser and Tatar good to go. Even better - Franzen's too sick with the flu to play.
