There is something seriously wrong with this team right now, especially offensively, where they have only averaged 1 goal per game in their last 4 games. When the line matchups aren't working, how does one expect a different result when nothing has changed in that regard? As far as shootouts go, it is so obvious what has been wrong with Jimmy. He backs into the crease far too quickly, exposing far too much shooting area, then, to make things even worse, when he gets there, he crouches down low into the splits many times, leaving the entire stratosphere looming above his head. Everyone in the league looks at films, and, with him, what do they see, where they can take advantage of how he reacts to the player coming at him? It's quite simple. All you need to do is wait because he will go into a splits and cover down low from post to post at ice level, so anything you can put over his head will go in. Jimmy is a big guy; if he would just stay more upright, use his pads and stick or blocker, depending on which side they break to, his results are going to be better. Jimmy has been poor in shootouts, and unless he changes what he continues to do, the opposing players will take advantage of it every time.
