Me too! And why I was so all-in for Watson. Put that guy on this team as currently constructed and he makes our run game and passing game scary while giving our defense long periods of time on the sidelines.
In all fairness, Houston looks far better this season than people would have expected, at least until the injury to Taylor. Hell, Taylor was producing better results.
Offensively, I'm actually surprised that every team isn't performing better than they normally do, especially in light of my position that good effective defense is a thing of the past. Defense today comes down to limiting the run game and hoping that passing games makes mistakes, poor decisions and errant passes. Tom Brady who would not have survived past his tenth season during the 80's, had he played in that era, is still playing at a high level aged 44 in 2021 should tell everyone how much the game has changed in favor of the offense.
