Bill Simmons believes the Celtics will trade for Okafor

Okafor is NOT worth the #3 this year and a first rounder next year. He's not Durant or Cousins. He doesn't the skill level to change a game.

Ainge is in Europe as I type and he's looking at Bender and a couple of other guys.

Ainge will NOT overpay for Okafor, neither will any other smart GM. The Sixers have painted themselves in a corner and everyone knows that they HAVE to deal somebody or some bodies. A fair deal would be the #3 and Avery Bradley for Okafor plus another player.

I think Okafor straight up for the third pick would be more than fair.

Okafor was 3 last year and did nothing that would make us project him as a future star. He is a good post scorer and will be a starting caliber player, but he ain't worth #3 and Bradley.

If Okafor had stayed in school and played this year, he'd be the top player in the draft this year. He was #3 last year. Therefore I rate him as the top player in the draft class of 2016 and I think that he is worth more than the #3 and I agree that Bradley is too much, that's why I said they need to include a second player.

No, he would not. People questioned his defense last year, that is why he slid. He is not a better talent than Simmons or Ingram.

Sure, that would be fine. They could not give up #3 plus a key starter though. Okafor is not that good.

Also, the Lakers passed on Okafor last season to take Russell. I think Ingram is a much better prospect than Russell.
