Okafor cant coexist with noel. The sixers stockpiled big men, then the league changed to more versatile shooters. Multiple dominant big men dont win titles now. That would be wild!!! especially giving the Sixers 2 of the top 3 picks...Does make some sense though...
Probably number 3, mayyybe a future pick they have stockpiled, and a piece like crowder would do it.Okafor is a worth a lot more than whoever is best available at #3 in the draft. Boston would have to throw in #16 too AND probably a player.

I would hold onto Crowder, Smart, and Bradley if trading for Okafor. You need good perimeter defense with the non-defending Okafor protecting the paint.
I have to laugh at Simmons though. He mentions the league going small ball but wants the Celtics to trade for a traditional center?
Simmons is the biggest Celtics homer there is. Anything he says about Boston will always be biased.
Also he's a cock!
Id drop sullinger in a heartbeat. I wouldn't want to give up crowder, but if they end up replacing anything they lose, with a max player id like, its a win.Don't the Celtics already have a logjam in their frontcourt!? Unless part of the trade idea is to get rid of Amir and Sullinger... But the Sixers have the same problem... Hmm.

DoneWould you do this?:
Crowder, Sullinger, and the 3rd for Jimmy Butler or DeMarcus Cousins?
Which i'm sure they would be happy to do.Okafor is a worth a lot more than whoever is best available at #3 in the draft. Boston would have to throw in #16 too AND probably a player.
Who on Maine is a must move up?If they're willing to trade Okafor then they have less value on him than we believe. Crowder has become a very valuable chip and teams have been after him since Boston got donged by the Hawks. Crowder is a keeper. Philly wants to clean up their front and getting the #3, #16 and #23 might be enough. Then again, Jordan Mickey and the #16 might be enough. Celtics have 4 players on the Maine Lobsters that they absolutely have to move up. Sullinger is gone. Kelly Olynyk will be on IR for the season next year. Crowder and Jerebko are keepers as is Thomas. Avery Bradley will be traded one way or the other. Stevens and Ainge know that they have to make a bunch of moves and get this team into the second round or beyond in 2016-17.
At least he knows that it's much better to live in LA!
