Nebraska is hosting a big visiting weekend this weekend to try to shore up some players in the 2015 class. Here's who will be visiting:

Willie Sykes (3-Star S)

The early enrollees - Dedrick Young, Eric Lee, Avery Anderson, and Aaron Williams will be on hand as well.

I will go on record, not a fan of Willie Sykes. I am a fan of Charlton Warren, if Warren likes him, then that is good.

Sykes is a legit burner sub 4.5 we could use that in the D backfield, iirc one of Riley's discoveries out on the satellite camp circuit

Don't be fooled by his rating, I've talked a few analysts at various recruiting services... and they think he's undervalued. Reminds me a bit of LeRoy Alexander coming out high school, not much pub but a ton of athleticism.

Sounds like Sykes and Barry had themselves a TIME... look for news out of their camps this week. Also, Neal's shutting down the recruiting process... he's all N.

The thing with Sykes is... he may not have a spot... we'll see. He might have been premature with putting those up but he has an in-home with Riley and co tomorrow, I'd expect a definitive answer as to whether he is N or not then.

Lavan Alston is visiting this Weekend, had a decent visit to WSU last weekend but wants to take the visit to Nebraska and move on from there. I think we have a really good shot with him. Terez Hall is similar in that regard, he is taking a midweek visit to Wisconsin and then coming to Nebraska this weekend... looks like a signing day deal for him. (he's been on record saying that Nebraska is his biggest offer.)

Also on commit watch... Nebraska hosted a Long Snapper from CA this last weekend, a Ricky Rubio all-star (if you remember Gabe Miller's recruitment, he was one as well) and offer him... Grant Gluhaich is his name. small kid, but one of the better LS prospects in the nation. Something to watch out for.

Looks to me like we have 5... maybe 6... spots left but we have about 9 guys we have a shot with right now.
