much much more organized... I do think Pelini's staff tried hard at recruiting at times but the problem was that it was inconsistent. Riley and Co have made it the #1 priority and fired a coach because he wouldn't make it his number 1 priority (Hughes). Riley and Co are more organized and more consistent in energy for recruiting than the previous staff ever was.

One of the most blatant examples I saw was just the difference in what the staffs sent out. The old staff used to send out a "Check out who we're playing this week!" mass mailing every week during the season. It was just a single printed page. They'd bring them to us to send on Thursday or Friday most times, meaning most of the kids would get them on Monday or Tuesday (after the game it was referring to). I never saw the new staff send out a mass mailing. Every single thing we sent was handwritten and hand-addressed. Seems kind of minor, but that's effort and commitment right there.

This is the most spring game visitors I can recall since I started following recruiting, about 10 yrs ago

I'm still not completely convinced they are going to Miami... hard to argue with a national recruiting guy though but they have been known to get things wrong from time to time. Just don't think Miami would push their spring game very much for recruiting reasons...

Hope he has fun watching with all 12 of the Miami fans that will be there. Could bode well for us when he sees his buddies' social media posts of a 65-70K crowd at Nebraska.

yeah, kind of an odd choice to go for a spring game to Miami... Miami can't sell itself too well at a spring game IMO.
