The rumor that was a whisper is picking up steam. I'll go ahead and say Carr's gonna be here. This is so awesome.

I've been checking around and I tend to agree.... think all of them are headed to Lincoln. Wow.

I know I've been poorly conditioned by the old staff, but at this point I'm somewhat terrified that we're paying people.
Having the best Red White game per visitors since forever, after a sub 500 season, inconceivable

I've thought same. Got my fingers crossed the staff is just doing a great job selling the program, it's fans, the individual awards, and the titles.

They work their asses off too. I was still working there for 6 months or so while they were there. Complete 180 from the old guys.

Those last two tweets won't load on my phone for some reason. Others do. Dunno.

I would hope the staff is selling exposure. Players at Nebraska are going to get national exposure as good as any.

It's going slow today. It's just KJJ quoting the tweet asking where they were going and putting in the "crying laughing" emoji. I legitimately don't know what it means.

Let's remember Bopleeny was never accused of being very intelligent or a good communicator.

But players would run through walls for him!

Unfortunately, offensive/defensive lines were an entirely different matter.

Not a lot of talent in the majority of those players though.

As I stated many times, they were "the best of the rest". It was either Nebraska, a low end P5, or mid-major. Of course the best option was Nebraska for football, the exposure, and the entire experience.

Which circles back to recruiting effort. Simply from being in the mailroom I saw the difference.

much much more organized... I do think Pelini's staff tried hard at recruiting at times but the problem was that it was inconsistent. Riley and Co have made it the #1 priority and fired a coach because he wouldn't make it his number 1 priority (Hughes). Riley and Co are more organized and more consistent in energy for recruiting than the previous staff ever was.
