The following is based on events of the past four seasons, with the most recent seasons getting the heaviest influence. Based strictly on in-conference play during that time period. This is how the Big 10 & Pac-12 could play out this season - if the entire abbreviated season is played without any covid (or other) cancellations:

Big 10 regular season standings & championship/plus-1 matchups:

East

Ohio St. 7-1
beats Wisconsin in title game to finish 8-1
Penn St. 6-2 beats Iowa to finish 7-2
Michigan 6-2 loses to Northwestern to end up 6-3
Michigan St. 5-3 loses to Minnesota to finish 5-4
Indiana 3-5 falls to Purdue to finish 3-6
Maryland 2-6 loses to Nebraska to end up 2-7
Rutgers 1-7 falls to Illinois to finish 1-8

West

Wisconsin 7-1
falls to Ohio St. in title game to finish 7-2
Iowa 5-3 loses to Penn St. to end up 5-4
Northwestern 4-4 beats Michigan to finish 5-4
Minnesota 4-4 beats Michigan St. to finish 5-4
Purdue 3-5 beats Indian to finish 4-5
Nebraska 2-6 beats Maryland to end up 3-6
Illinois 1-7 tops Rutgers to finish 2-7

Pac-12 regular season standings & championship/plus-1 matchups:

East

Washington 5-1
loses to USC in title game to end up 5-2
Oregon 4-2 falls to Utah to finish 4-3
Washington St. 3-3 beats Arizona St. to end up 4-3
Stanford 3-3 beats UCLA to finish 4-3
California 2-4 beats Arizona to finish 3-4
Oregon St. 1-5 beats Colorado to finish 2-5

West

USC 4-2
beats Washington in title game to finish 5-2
Utah 4-2 beats Oregon to finish 5-2
Arizona St. 3-3 falls to Washington St. to finish 3-4
UCLA 3-3 loses to Stanford to end up 3-4
Arizona 2-4 loses to California to end up 2-5
Colorado 2-4 loses to Oregon St. to finish 2-5

Ohio St. makes the playoff. Nobody from the Pac gets in, but USC & Utah may be in the Top 25 at the end of the season.

LOL, why did you even bother including the PAC12? It's clear you have no idea what you are talking about.

Let the Oregon butt hurt commence on that call.

Even though they've lost their entire 2019 starting Oline, multi year starting QB, their best LB, and DB has been completely gutted, don't try to tell it to their fans. I've been laughing my ass off the entire off season as their fans on social media are claiming they're playoff bound this year and Mario Criscoballz should be the highest paid coach in college football.

PACN will come down to Washington or Cal

PACS will come down to USC or ASU.
