I would say that as long as nothing fluky happens, the Hawks should be able to win these next three games, but when it comes to division rivalry games the fluky stuff tends to decide things. That means Jon Ryan can't forget how to catch a snap or forget which side he's supposed to punt the ball to. That hopefully means no disproportionate penalty counts on judgement calls and that the Hawks do their part not to rack up unnecessary/avoidable penalties. Turnovers will be big as well. The Hawks have been better in recent weeks at forcing them and not committing them. That trend needs to continue.

The only thing the Cards win does is leave us no room for error. With the way we have been playing lately, the added sense of urgency doesn't hurt. I expect the guys to continue to play the way they have been.

I think the Rams beat them up bad. They have found life on offense with Hill and getting Tavon the ball as well as a decent back to keep the defense off balance. Their defense sends immense pressure on the QB and that is usually the number one issue for young/backup QBs, making the correct read for blocking assignments. Cards are one dimensional on offense. I see destruction coming their way. I could be wrong, and it is a tough battle for both teams, but the way the Rams have been playing in all three phases of the game and home field I just have a real hard time giving the Cards a chance.

Well, I was certainly wrong. I have not watched it yet, but assuming a defensive struggle, turnovers, penalties, miscues. I sort of feel better about playing the Rams now. Cards are now in a tougher spot at QB.

The thing about the cards is, every game they have won has left both teams looking very unimpressive. Yet they keep winning. And the teams they beat look far worse than they really are.

With the longer break between games, I think he's more likely to come back for our game than if he'd gotten hurt in a Sunday game. Then again, he was determined not to put any weight on that leg at all, so maybe the longer layoff won't be enough to get him back for week 16. Either way, I think it works to the Seahawks' advantage. We'll either get a banged up Stanton or Ryan Lindley.

Even if Stanton comes back vs Seattle, he won't be a 100%. A healthy Lindy could prove to be better play for the Cards if you can call it that.
