Really stupid to play him. Pittsburgh with Batch is better than Cleveland still.
This could cost Pitt their season if he gets hit again.
Disagree. Pitt is only up 4. One stupid decision by Batch and they can end up losing the game, and being 1.5 behind Baltimore.
I know he only had 1 catch for 17 yards tonight, but I still love me some Greg Little.

The only decision they're asking Roethlisberger to make is how many hops he'll take to get Mendenhall to hand the ball off.
If they have to ask him to throw, what's going to happen? Is he capable of throwing the ball away if protection breaks down? Or will he do what he always does and try to make something happened and get severely fucked up?
What if Cleveland decides the best way to win this game is to just blitz the shit out of him? Every time he drops back they send 6. . .
Charlie Batch is not a rookie. He lacks the physical skills, but not the decision making skills. It's easy enough to put him in there and say "don't lose this game."
Greg little was a running back in college but he switched to wr in his last season at NC
I'm not watching the game, so I don't know what they're asking of Roethlisberger. If they're just asking him to hand the ball off, you have a point. But Charlie Batch is a back-up for a reason, and in the minimum time he was in went 0-2 and was sacked once.
Pitt has to be thinking about keeping up with Baltimore.
