Sure they made offers. That is not in dispute moron. But if both conferences wanted teja$ as bad as you say, they would have let teja$ write their own ticket, i.e. uneven conference revenue sharing, ala the BXII. But bad news buddy boy. In the next conference teja$ joins, they won't get a dime of conference money more than any other school. You won't have Beebe as your puppet commish anymore. And no teja$ will not be allowed to keep the LHN as is...

Newsflash here - NOBODY said they would. You are making up your own argument with yourself, kid

Never said conferences were DYING to have Texas - I've stated, quite CLEARLY, that every conference will go after Texas.

Seriously man, you need to get over Texas raping you guys every year. The butthurt is oozing out of everything you post now.

Actually, I found something today that indicated that Dodds and L. Scott during a round of golf, talked about forming the PAC 16 as far back as January of 2010.

I've seen it, west coast article if i remember right.

The following are your quotes.
"No commish is going to pass on billions of dollars over a 300 million network, that's peanuts."

"Texas is too big a money maker for any of those conferences to walk away from the table."

But see, you are wrong, just like you were with the whole, "The texas leg. won't allow aTM to leave the BXII." The B1G and the Pac will not bend to teja$' will. teja$ will take the offer and like it or go down the road.

Oh and it is not that I hate teja$, I just hate dooshy teja$ fan like you...

Wow, the butthurt is STRONG with you

No commish is going to pass on making billions over a 300 million TV deal.....that's common sense.

AND no conference is going to walk away from the negotiating table with Texas, there's too much money at stake.

You don't have to agree with my statements, but at least take them in proper context. This is why you fail.

I also NEVER ONCE said the legislature would STOP Aggie from leaving.....I said they would make it painful to do so, and would quite possibly saddle them with Baylor or Tech.

At LEAST get your facts right......but considering your level of comprehension, that may be asking too much.

I wish I had book marked it. You did say the state leg wouldn't allow it. You said it on the other board. You are a damned liar.

And like someone else in this thread stated, no commish will jepordize his conference for teja$. But for you to think they would is not suprising what with the teja$ sized ego "y'all" have...

But you are right about one thing. There will be a negotiations. It will look like this.

teja$: We want in your conference.

Commish: Here is the deal. Equal partners with all of the other schools upon admission. And you will get rid of or have the LHN assimilated by the conference network.

teja$: But we're teja$...

Commish: Take it or leave it.

teja$: Yes sir, thank you sir.

See, every commish in the country has seen what has gone on in the BXII the last 18 months and they don't want it happening in their own back yards.

God, you are dumb as a sack of hammers...

Think about it. It would be a great move for Texas to be King of depleted BIG XII and ACC conferences. The SEC and BiG are likely going to gash the upper echelons of the ACC in event of super-conference alignment.

Texas doesn't want to be in the PAC, SEC or the BiG where they surely won't be King.

OU, OSU, A&M, Missouri gone from the BIG XII

Florida St, Miami, Va Tech, Ga Tech/N. Carolina gone from the ACC.

New Texas Conference a combination of :

Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas St, Iowa St
NC State, Boston College, Wake Forest, Virginia, Duke.

5 more teams for a Texas super-conference.

Here we go with the baseless accusations. I'm not a liar.....and if you say that again, and it were possible, I'd knock your teeth out.

We had that discussion for WEEKS. I said multiple times, that the legislature controls the school funding, they've cut it before, and that based on their HISTORY, would probably force Baylor or Tech to go with them. Never ONCE said they would stop A&M - but I did say they would make it painful to go.

Now, if you say otherwise, the burden of proof is on YOU - or are you the liar here? I think so.

As far as equal revenue distro, what makes you think that is a problem for Texas? Do you even know the breakdown of the revenue in the Big 12 currently? The differences between the top and bottom of the league is not very much.....but again, I'm expecting you to actually KNOW what your talking about, something that's completely foreign to you.

And again......show me where ONE Texas fan or myself has EVER said we wouldn't have to change the LHN?

Making up arguments with yourself, kid......do you always talk to yourself like this?

Exactly what I was thinking. Actually at first I thought 'ACC? WTF?' and then the light came on and ahh!!. AQ conference, call the shots because every other team is just glad to be in a conference, BCS bowl every year.

Yep that is what Texas is looking for.

This thread has provided a lot of entertainment......

Texas' ego is not as big ad this fans is. They are in the best seat of the current free agents, but no conference is going to bend over backwards for them. Sorry...

Texas will end up in the B1G or Pac 16 and will play by the rules with their current revenue sharing plans.

I think this is posturing to get the most for Texas when they leave. We'll see though. Would be interesting if they went one way and Oklahoma went another.

You mean how Texas used the move to the PAC to get a better deal in the BIG12? We've seen this before.

Are Texas Longhorn fans really from Texas? They want to be in a Liberal conference with hippies. That sounds so UN-Texan to me. I see A&M being the real flagbearer for the state.

When A&M is playing big-time football and Texas is in liberal anti-god league (remember they wanted to leave out Baylor because they were "Christian"). Most Texans will become Aggies and abandon the Longhorns.

Baylor would sue, you're right. They would sue Texas for going into the Pac16. Do you not think the Pac12's comments last year about Baylor made them happy? Plus being a lawyer, I know that they will sue all parties more then likely.

Baylor would sue: Missouri (for wanting to go to Big10 last year - stretch), Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Big10, SEC, Pac12, Dan Beebe, Mike Slive, Larry Scott, Jim Delaney, and maybe even Nebraska and Colorado.

You list all parties lol.
