Kane was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday, a line-item that follows the one for winning the identical award a week before.

To this point, Kane is maddening to deal with, a bruising lead guard nevertheless able to finesse incisions into the lane to find spot-up shooters or run pick-and-rolls with Iowa State’s cavalcade of frontcourt scorers. Or he can muscle his way to his own shot while also wearing down the opposition’s best offensive options at the other end. “He’s been outstanding,” Baylor coach Scott Drew said. “One thing you notice about him, he affects the game in multiple ways – rebounds, assists, scoring, defensively with his size he can guard multiple positions. Well, so far it looks like Texas is back to playing good basketball, after that hornets nest in Manhattan Saturday. I will say, playing KSU in Manhattan, is about as tough a place to play this year as there is.


Texas currently up 36-14 over OKS with 8:00 minutes left in first half.

I agree with him but.......

I also think TCU needs to can him. You better have a top tier coach in this conference and..well.... until I read your post I didn't know his name and couldn't pick him out of a police lineup. TCU needs to get a coach with a higher profile and better career record imo.
