3 free throws in a 40 minute game lol
Oklahoma lost again but sports media continues to promote the Sooners and Young like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
What are you watching? All I've seen on Young for the last week or 2 is how much he's been struggling
While I agree, there was really no reason for OU to be ranked this week. Much like my team.
I hear ya...but someone has to be ranked toward the bottom of the top 25 and there isn't really any teams better IMHO. Maybe close to the same, but.........While I agree, there was really no reason for OU to be ranked this week. Much like my team.

I agree both OU and WVU haven't merited their ranking as of late. Not even close. I also agree that schools like Rhode Island get the shaft in similar situations. In no way shape or form should a team that lost 4 straight still be ranked in the top 25 when they were ranked 12 right before the slide. Sure this 5th straight Saturday will bump them out but still both them and WVU had no reason being ranked. Had it been someone with a name like Rhode Island, they would have been put back on the bubble.

What I was saying was just about "any" team placed toward the bottom of the rankings is overranked to a certain extent...considering they've lost a lot and/or haven't played many good teams.
And while OU, WVU and some others have really sucked lately, there are still a lot of teams that really wouldn't like to see them in the first round of the tournament...IF...teams like that get it together.
I hope OU loses their remaining games. Trae Young seems overrated. He doesn't have the lateral quickness Curry had when he was drafted nor the size. He still has a shot at being a decent starter in the NBA, but there is no way in hell his usage stays the same in the pros.
He looked awful this game against college level athletes and might be as bad of a defender as IT4. I don't see a star potential in him unless he has an otherworldly shot.I wouldn't go that far. He's on a team with very little talent. Defenses focus on shutting him down. Have to think he will be a good player in the NBA (possibly great) when he is on a team with players much better than he is. Also he's only 19.
