LOL

I wonder if anyone has ever predicted just the standings for any conference perfectly right a year in advance.

Shit, Penn State will probably end up in the top 3 for all I know.......but if I didn't put them at the bottom then I wouldn't have created any conversation in this thread :D

Anyone that is holding it against Bo for saying that Lee was healthy and Taylor was healthy in the media is just desperate to find something against him. That is just dumb.

No, it's just plain dumb for a coach to not give OUR team a much better chance at winning the most important game up to this point in his career. That game was BIG really BIG!

Also it's dumb to not realize that the buck stops with Bo.
If his OC is not doing what should be done to increase the chances of winning the BIGGEST game of the last 3 years, then that's just plain sad.

Its the same ole thing on Offense which goes back to the OC who keeps trying to go back to the same stuff that we do not have the people for. I agree going back to the Wildcat and Burkhead would have at least given us a chance and it was working. And you could have done more trick plays. I liked the call of Burkhead to Taylor, only thing is that OU blew up our O line that play. But they could have done more with Burkhead than Martinez that night. Now we have to go play an uninteresting game with Wash. The bowls have way to many non games this year. Neb and OU are among teams that have un interesting match ups.

The OU Connecticut game is a much more appealing game than our stinky bowl game.

Lee just said this week that he has been healthy all along...........all he did was hit his fingers on a helmet.

Cody Green should have been playing during the Big 12 Championship game.

JJM, that can't be true about Lee! Why would he tell the truth about not being injured?

I blame Bo for one thing and one thing only.......

And that is that he said back after the Texas game that he lets Watson make the call during the game if there needs to be a QB change.

Now, should Bo have chimed in during the Championship game and said "ok, we need to change something up here"............yea, I think so.

BUT, the fact is, we wouldn't have to have this problem if our Offensive Coordinator knew enough to pull a one-legged Martinez and put in someone with 2 legs.

That's true, Bo needs to override an OC who wasn't getting it done. Man, a BCS Bowl game against Connecticut sure would look good right now!

Didn't I already say something about how no one can convince me that Taylor shouldn't have been on the field?

All I am saying is that what a coach, whether it is Bo or anyone else, says in the media about a player's health is not something you should hold over that coach. EVERY coach lies about player's health.

Looks pretty believable.........I do think Michigan State will be better and has a more favorable schedule than Penn State next year, but otherwise I could see this happening.

I mean let's be honest, we can all try and assume things are going to play out a certain way and they just never do. Just like going into this year, Texas was preseason #1 in the Big 12, Florida was #2 in the SEC, etc etc.

And one team always ends up being the surprise team it seems like too. I could see Illinois maybe even being that surprise team...........but who knows, such a crap shoot to try and figure it all out so far in advance.

I could see things going like BoiseStateFan27 says. I think Mich St will be higher than 7th, probably 4th or 5th. Iowa will probably be a 6or 7 team. And I am hoping that we take it to everyone on our schedule next year. I think we could win it or be as low as 3rd. Since next year we are getting the new kid on the block treatment, we are playing anyone that has had any history of being good in the past and is good for them now. Not a normal year for us. We need to really do well next year to make a statement and set our standing.

I agree. If Watson had had a good history of working through games let alone tough games I could see Bo letting Watson have the reins. But we have had to play a more Defensive conservative game starting last year to have any chance to win. Watson keeps making the same mistakes. He keeps wanting to go to a game plan that we do not have the people for and he has not trained anyone to do. We need a good balanced O and Watson does not want that he wants to pass pass pass. Even if it costs the game he is unwilling to do what is working though out the game. I hope he is gone after the bowl game, by either getting offered a diff. job elsewhere or being let go. Him and His style of O has cost us a shot at the NC already in Bo's young HC career.

On the OU/UConn game. You might be right. But they are having problems selling tickets for the game. I could see this as being at the same level of bad match up or worse. The reason they got is allowed a bad team to get into the game just cause they won a weak conf. I know that playing Wash. again is a bad match on paper also. Bowls should be a reward for doing well during the season. And have the Best teams and records play each other. 8-4 should be the bottom bowl game level. I do not see any reason any team with a record of 7 wins. They have made this the worst bowl match up season. Its a very frustrating bowl season.

The Holiday Bowl matchup is one of the worst matchups I've ever seen for a big name team {Nebraska}.
