Usually if there isn't a single thing on TV now, but something I really want to watch later I will just put it on the channel ahead of time and do whatever chores or paperwork I have, or even just play on my tablet. But 2 fucking days in a row I was getting ready to watch something on HBO (the fight yesterday, GoT today) and they put this damn Lemonade thing on. I don't know what it is, but it's terribad. it's got Beyonce in it singing some of her terrible songs, and a bunch of super annoying spoken word poetry. Both days I turned the shit off within 10 minutes, I don't know how long this thing will run for, but hopefully it's not an every week thing.

Anybody else know what's going on with that?

HBO successfully negotiate the first air rights to Beyonce's new "video concept album," Lemonade. AT&T/DTV elected to provide a free preview weekend to subscribers concurrent with its debut. Also airing was GoT season 5 binge preceding the debut of the first episode of season 6. There were a few other plumbs - Entourage The Movie (if that's your thing), Confirmation (HBO feature about the Anita Hill / Clarence Thomas thing)...

To clarify, I have not seen Beyonce's Lemonade and feel no urgency to do so. The seemingly unavoidable entertainment critiques are everywhere and span the gamut from over-the-top Bey-worship to the nit-picky dismembering, frame-by-frame. I just don't care...
