Ya know... I was saying to my friends at the end of last year that the NFC West was gonna be decent. The Seahawks and Cards (who have won 10 of 11) were looking alright. The Rams are actually better than I thought they would be in the early season, but the other two teams defenses are pretty impressive. I think this is the most physical division in football. Even more so than the AFC North.

Tampa was OK there. The game wasn't over so if they want to try and hope for a miracle fumble during a kneel down its OK. They weren't trying to injure anyone, they were hoping to catch Eli off guard and maybe he'd fumble and by some miracle it'd bounce their way and they could go tie it up.

certainly surprising wins this week...with defense, but don't think they can sustain it....just yet?

Ha. This seems like a good place for what I'm about to say. ESPN.com had the 49ers as the main story on the front page of their website with all the links on the stories about the game. About 45 minutes or so later and they already changed it to the New York Giants late win over TB and how the NFC East fared today. Go figure.

NFC West is the new black and blue division in the NFL.

The division is definitely better and shouldn't be consider the joke of the NFL anymore as the AFC West and AFC South are worse divisions.

But I do think the Cards, Rams, and Hawks will come down to earth a bit. Especially the Cards as I knew their defense would play well but I still have 0 faith in their offensive line and QB.
