How about it? I'm not the one boasting that my favorite team is the best in the NFL.

Dallas has sucked since you were in junior high school, pump the brakes a bit.
Is this thread about this year? Why do Pats fans always go there for no reason and when totally irrelevant???

Especially considering until the early 2000's, their team was completely irrelevant.

Well the NFC is up on the AFC, so if its a dumpster fire what does that make the AFC?
Its the AFCNs fault 1-11-1 AFCE is 7-6 AFCS is 8-5 and AFCW is 9-4 :suds:

Doesn't matter whis fault it is, facts are the "Dumpster Fire" NFC has a better the better record. I know it wasn't you who said it but maybe if Rex knew before he opened his mouth he wouldn't have said anything.

Sitting at 10-1, I'm going to stick with my weekly choice of the Cowboys being the best in the NFC. Seattle provided further proof that they are regressing towards mediocrity. Their o-line was exposed and Russell Wilson couldn't handle the thunder that the Bucs defense was bringing.

Week to week league but the Cowboys just seem to get better week to week, so I couldn't argue. Defense needs to get healthy for a deep playoff run though!

Still Dallas, obviously. The next question is who is the 2nd best team in the NFC. I'd have to say going off record it is the GMen. They would be leading every other NFC division.

I think the one "lead pipe cinch" statement is that the Dallas offense moves the ball. Quietly, steadily, and for long periods of time. They eat the clock and the will of the opposing defense.

With Dak looking like crap Jerry Jones slurping Tony Homo
Packers beating the shit out of the seabirds and on 3 game winning streak vs solid teams
Atl having the worst defense in the NFL
Detroit having a history of choking late in the season and having no real wins vs teams currently in the playoffs
Vikes have fallen apart

It's fair to say the Packers are the best team in the NFC right now. Again this doesn't mean they have the best record it just means overall they are playing better than any other team in the NFC right now and probably for the last three games. Their defense is relinquishing 12 ppg and offense is posting about 30 ppg during the 3 game streak. If that was their season numbers that would make them the best scoring defense and second best scoring defense in the NFL and they did it vs playoff caliber teams.

Obviously things could change and most likely will change.
