I was looking for some NFL DIV rd chat and didn't want to start a thread that was already out there so I guess this will suffice.

I personally think the Mahomes and Watson is the most intriguing, but Wilson and Rodgers both have rings so I went with them on the vote.

HOU @ KC...Chiefs DEF is playing much better than they were at week 6. They were giving up 30 pts a game. I don't think JJ Watt is healthy, he can't be...nice game with the key sack last week, but overall, not much impact...idk if he and Mercilus will get enough pressure on Mahomes. Watson will makes some plays, but I think KC wins this one and covers the 9.5

Kinda funny but true...I was just out for lunch today listening to the midday sportstalk guys and they were at their projection part of the show and one guys was heavy SF, and the ex-NFL player host like SF, but felt if SF had to get into a heavy passing game, MIN would win.

Interesting take I thought.

Really Wilson vs Rodgers? Rodgers is vastly underperforming. Wilson's been down second half. Gimme the two young guns.

Texans/Chiefs is one to watch the injury report. Will Fuller and Travis Kelce are both incredibly important to their teams and I could see the status of these guys impacting the game. I think both teams have major defenders that are banged up, too, and their availability is going to have a major impact on the game. If everyone on offense is healthy or teams are missing key defenders then this is the matchup I'd pick.

I wouldn't totally rule out Tannehill vs Jackson. The Ravens are going to go all-in on beating the run and Jackson has been arguably the best player in the NFL this year. Tannehill is coming off against a bad game against the Patriots but the Patriots very specifically took away the passing game...for some reason...against the Titans and tried to beat TEN at their own game. I doubt the Ravens do this.

I think with the NFC teams, the home favorite is going to rely on defense and running the football. The away teams are going to try and get a shootout. You'll probably see one getting blown out and the other getting into a shootout but I couldn't tell you which will be which.

I went with Mahomes-Watson. Mahomes is one of the most unique, great passers we've seen in a long time. I just love watching that guy throw the ball. Second would be Garoppolo-Cousins, but that's just bias for me. Niners bias, obviously, but I've also always liked Cousins.

Wilson/Rodgers and Watson/Mahomes are both intriguing for different reasons

Mahomes/ Watson. 2 young mega stars in what could be a shootout. Wilson/ Rodgers has some history and intrigue and that game could get interesting in the 4th qtr.
Most intriguing to me is Cousins/ Garropolo. JimmyG in his first really big game but he has a great coach and a lot of help around him. He won't have to carry the team. Cousins temporarily off the snide as a big game choker but he has to back it up. Saleh will have that D all over him so we will see how he handles it.
But the poll was "best" QB matchup, not most intriguing so I went with the young gun superstars.
