the person 'selling'/'presenting' largent to the committee was better at his job than carter's was?

the hof process is a sham so i don't put much emphasis on who was voted in quicker.

It probably had more to do with Largent's 3+ YPC more than Carter's. Possession WRs generally go to the back of the line.

Cris Carter is a complete dick but he had the best hands in the history of the league. The fact Michael Irvin got in on his 3rd attempt and Carter waited until his 6th is insane. Okay, maybe i'm a homer but Carter > Irvin by a wide margin.
