Yikes, poor Akron had a play with their 0-9 record trailing 35 points.

The Zips went winless in 2019 after replacing Coach Bowden. They only had 2 losses that were 1 score games. Every opponent scored at least 20 on them and half of their losses had the Zips scoring in single digits or in the case of 2 games, being shut out.

With Bowden, Akron wasn't great, but they were at least competitive.

It's not the best of times.
