Here are losses… and there are really bad losses.

I’d say this qualifies for the latter.

There is a reason Bochy was out of baseball for awhile. People forget that.

This team took everybody for a ride through 60 games because the offense was other worldly.

Now the offense can't hit at all with RISP and the pitching has reverted to the horrible mess they always were.

Hey where's J Leiter? Oh thats right he's languishing in double A, developing just like every other Ranger minor league pitcher...backwards.

That swing reminded me a lot of David Ortiz. I went to check to see if he was related but did not see where he is.

I know Ryan Tepera struggled this year at the MLB level but since we have picked him up and assigned him to RR he has been 4-0 without allowing a run. Might be worth giving him a shot since we have a number of knuckleheads pitching on our current MLB roster.

Before the team was clicking on all the 3 phases of the game: pitching, hitting and defense. Prior to last night the offense had pretty much faded for several weeks but the pitching and defense held up until last night when all 3 phases contributed to the worst game of the year.

Eovaldi is our best SP with JD out for the season. Gray had an amazing stretch earlier in season but now back to mediocre. Perez is done. Heaney is an ok 5th starter. Dunning has been good but how long can he keep that up?

And the bullpen has been killing us most of the season.

Offense has been better than expected. But...RISP hitting has been a big regression for last month.

And did you know the Rangers are 0-31 when trailing entering the 9th. They are the only team in baseball without at least one 9th inning comeback.

The Astros will be comfortably ahead in 1st place by end of July. I don't want to give away farm talent at the deadline for a season that is likely going nowhere. The focus should be 2024.

Keith Law thinks the Rangers are taking Max Clark. I am hoping he is wrong.
