I think there have been various "Thunder and Lightning" or "Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside" combos. Otherwise, you guys got the ones I thought of.

As for real names, I have to vote for FB Mack Strong, with honorable mention to FB Sam Gash.

Julian Edelman wants to be known as Squirrel, which he prefers to the more popular Minitron. Both choices are IMO meh. I want to elevate the former to Hypersquirrel, but I'm in a minority of one on that. The only football nickname I ever came up with that stuck was for a body part -- the Gronkle.

Oh, here's one that was pretty good in college, devalued in the pros because the player was good-not-great -- Daniel Graham as Grahambo. And one I've seen a couple times for a certain controversial coach -- Darth Hoodie.

I also get a kick out of any football player who goes by "Rosey", notably Grier.
