I don't know, I think Legion of Boom is a pretty great nickname.

Meant it isn't likely to stand the test of time as well as the others. They are a good defense, but they really aren't historically good. At least not yet.

Nice list. As knowledgeable of NFL nicknames as @Rock Strongo is, I find it hard to believe that he's only heard four of those.

I've never heard "hammer", but Jack Ham was certainly one of the greatest LBs I've ever seen play.

Also loved "Slash", though he was as likely to break a fan's heart as he was to make a play.
