Still a Heat fan
'Forbes' ranks the 'best fan bases' in the NBA and, oh, hey Miami - CBSSports.com
Never any doubt in my book

The factors used:
hometown crowd reach (defined by market researchers Nielsen Scarborough as a percentage of the local population that watched, attended, and/or listened to a game in the last year), 3 years worth of television ratings, 3 years of arena attendance based on capacity reached, 3 years worth of merchandise sales, and social media reach (a combination of Facebook likes and Twitter followers).
3 years? Come on now?
This ranking wasted everyone's time by using 3 years merchandising sales and social media.
It was not the MIAMI HEAT. It was LEBRON JAMES who moved the dial singlehandedly.
The same spikes in fandom over the last 3 years would have been the same in whatever city Lebron played in. Miami just happened to benefit from his pick.
MIAMI is not a great sports town at all. It is legendary in that regard.
It does not have great or particularly loyal sports fans.
It is a transplant vibrant cosmopolitan city with so much else to do.
There are just as many transplanted supporters of other teams as diehard locals.
I cannot even blame Miami.
Who the hell wants to be obsessed with the Florida Marlins or Panthers when there is much interesting stuff to do elsewhere in that amazing city.
The Clippers? Really... their fans didn't exist until Lakers bandwagoners jumped off. The list is a joke for including them.

Sooooo, how's that " Dragic's contract is a done deal" thang working out?
Houston must have an " inside source " that says he wants to return cause they are working awfully hard to reacquire him
It takes a lot of heart and a strong stomach to be a Clippers Fan.
