Oh come on it is a pretty great film especially for the holidays but after 2000 times it gets very, very worn.

I prefer the director's cut with Stewart ripping a branch off the Xmas tree and beating the girl severely with it for fucking around with the piano

Independence Day never claimed to be Oscar material. I still like it. A lot of fun characters in the film even Judd Hirsch as the Old fart Jewish dad. Brent Spiner as the geeky scientist is comedy gold and there were a lot of good lines in it.

It's a Wonderful Life is, without a doubt, the most overrated movie of all time. Next time you watch it, try to not "know" that it is a classic, and just watch it for what it is. Pretty stupid, really.

So it comes down to the 1956 and 1978 versions.
