Another little known fact is that this commercial is what led to Mario's comeback less than a year later. He realized it was a good thing that he was good at hockey because he couldn't act for shit!

This is pretty horrible but if you were about 6-12 years old living in Canada around the time this commercial came out, you knew you did something really fucking stupid when you caused someone to imitate Joey's "Gretzky" from the end of this commercial.
