With 4 teams tied at 10-3, Baltimore just has to win 1 of the next 2 games against Cleveland and San Diego to have something to play for come Week 17 as they'll at WORST be 1 game behind a bye.
But Baltimore holds all tie-breakers so if they have the same record going into week 17, Pitt will have no chance.
Looking at the playoff machine, it does seem unlikely that B-More would be resting starters. They'll have a bye to play for (as Rey pointed out). I'd love to make the game meaningful for us, but I'm not confident that we beat the Rams and Cards.
1-6 against teams with a winning record (and 1 loss came to a crappy Denver team).
I understand why everyone is dissappointed, but this isn't over...
they lost to a Texans team that's been one of the best in the leauge despite injuries..
The Broncos should win the West. so it essentaily comes down to a bunch of teams competiting for the 6th seed. Bengals have the tiebreaker over the Titans because they beat them head to head. unless the Raiders skill players all of a sudden get healthy they're in trouble.
Now the Jets have a one game lead and look like the best bet, but all three of their final games are tough...
I'm not saying the Bengals make it, but it wouldnt shock me either
Jets have the tie-breaker right now and will likely end the season with the tie-breaker, so essentially we're 2 games back with 3 games left to play.
