These officials have been flag happy all day.

If the DB is allowed to make contact within 5 yards, then the WR needs to be afforded the same.

I would like to see some holding for the DL...Dunlap and Atkins have been mugged all day long...Not to mention earlier in the game Bodline had his helmet ripped off by the DT....nothing.

Another completely bullshit call.

Even the announcers can't believe these calls....

Wrong.

After the catch, the Bengals were at the 36 yardline. That's a 52 yarder for Nugent, and they would have at least had a chance (as I said) for a FG.

Should they have called a timeout? Not probably. YES. They had 3, and they ran 10 seconds off the clock, and it was clear as day that the offense was not on the same page. Why rush in that situation with 3 timeouts. Call the TO, set up a play (or two) and get on the same page. It's the same poor clock management that has plagued this team for over a decade now.

Wrong on the on-side kick. It was the wrong call. Even if they recovred it, it was the wrong call. The end result does not dictate whether a play is "good" or "bad". The situation does. That was not a good situation for that. The defense had been holding them down. You kick that ball off and force that offense, now down, to drive the length of the field. I could understand if the defense had been struggling and giving up long drives and/or points, but that was not the case.

The onside was the wrong call because it didn't work. Don't even sit there and pretend you would be nothing about it if they had recovered it. It wasn't necessary by any means, but you're a fucking moron if you think that you can remove blame from Nugent because it, in your opinion, shouldn't have been called.

And about the timeout, the bottom line is a $105 million QB did something stupid again. The timeout is irrelevant.

Well boys, this is it. We need to keep the ball or we're gong to lose 16-14.

You can believe that, but I've said forever, the outcome of X play doesn't deterimin if the play was the right decision. It was a bad call on several fronts. End of discussion.

He did make a bad decision. I've never said that, and I've never said the coaches have cost them this game. I have said that they've cost them, potentially, 6 points. You can't argue that. It's a fact.

Also, people using the $105M contract as part of an argument have nothing else to add. THat money is paper money. He makes something like 25M over the next 3 years, and the rest is incentives, includeing, Conference Championship, Super Bowl appearance, and a S.B. win. You think he's getting those?

You want to see bad coaching? How do you not challenge that catch if you're Livie Smith?

Gio between the tackles

Hill on sweeps

It's like, they think they can 'fool' the defense.
