I get being aggressive, but I'm not sure that was the right spot.

As you said, the defense playing lights out, and if you don't get the ball, you are almost giving up a FG automatically.

If not for some idiotic coaching, you could easily say that the Bengals would have at least 3 more points (clock mis-management at the end of the 1st half before Dalton INT), and you could be giving up at least a FG here on a poor onside kick decision/execution.
