Zeitler wouldn't have been there in the 2nd. He is a late 1st round grade. Balt was looking at taking him. I'm not so sure About Glenn. Lots have teams that would have really used him have passed on him. Zeitler is a really good player. Happy with this pick.

Wouldn't you rather have DeCastro? He was there for the taking. I don't understand the thought process, trading out of position to get the best guard in the draft so they could pick the second best guard....it's fucking illogical.....

Zeitler is a good player, and will definitely strengthen us at the position, but we could have done so much better......

I like it. Zeitler is an accomplished guy from a program that has turned out good pros. We get him and a third rounder instead of Decastro. Decastro was obviously overhyped given the fact that some folks had him off the board at 10-12, but pro scouts passed on him into the 20s.

I think you are being a bit melodramatic. I don't think it's a coincidence that Balt had been linked to Zeitler, then when he is picked they don't want Glenn so they trade down. Something about Glenn teams aren't liking.
And would I have taken DeCastro? Yeah I would have. But this isn't an awful draft. I like Zeitler better than Kirkpatrick. And it really depends on who we take with that 3rd round pick.
