Not sure Nelson will come back to sit. Team seems pretty set to start Williams now. I highly doubt he'll return.
But, the fact that this team only lost 1 impact starter to F/A is pretty amazing.
I think you are right, but just because teams don't see him as a starter doesn't mean he doesn't see him self as a starter, or should be getting a decent deal (years, not just money)? It's not clear that any team has him as a starter in mind.... You'd figure he'd have a deal somewhere by now - Unless he's being really picky about money or has decided to wait for injuries to crop up.

At worst, I think he'll be looking for an opportunity to start in a competition if needed. I just don't think he'll get that here where Williams seems to be THE guy going forward. Of course, at the right price, anything can change.

Browns waived DB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu.
A 2015 seventh-round pick, Ekpre-Olomu spent his entire rookie year on NFI rehabbing from ACL surgery and a dislocated knee. He said he was close to fully recovered in February, but the Browns cut him after he hadn't progressed as hoped. It's possible some team will take a flyer on the ex-Oregon star if he can prove his health.
He has 1st Round talent. I was realy hoping the Bengals would draft and stash him last year. Now the Browns did us a favor by paying him for a year. Now we can scoop him up for nothing and let our medical team, which is light year's better than the Brown's, help him to rehab over the next year. It's just what the Bengals like to work with...1st Rd talent that has some issues, whether that be medical or mental. I know our scouts are good enough to appreciate what he did at Oregon. He's a lot better than Shaw was at USC.
wait, what?Dansby's contract reminds me of David West's of San Antonio. Cincinnati is now a destination for someone with eyes on a Championship, past playoff losses aside.
People keep making these assumptions, but they don't factor in that it's simply not how Mike Brown works. At all.I agree with Cole Harvey's article (that's a rarity for me) today that Marvin is gone if he doesn't win at least one playoff game this year. This is the most talented team they've had in the Marvin era.
