Defense played like shit. They were on the field too much, partly of their own doing, but there's been absolutely no pressure the past 4 games and their inability to get to the QB hs been their biggest problem recently.

What's the status on Burfict? Seems like he is a much needed boost for the run game.

What bothers me is that they don't even seem to try to mix it up much..... I think our defensive backs get a lot of credit for pass coverage, but I think they are playing a ton of zone and only rushing 4 on every play. That might make you look good with regards to stats against big plays, but it doesn't do shit for your run D..... And a good balanced offense will kill you. I think the dirty secret is that our starting corners can't cover 1 on 1 anymore..... Marvin refuses to replace them with young first rounders, we refuse to blitz to protect them and it's not working.

I don't think you have to worry about that. The guy can't even limp through a rehab session at this point. The idea that he's playing at a high level in three weeks is a little hard for me to believe.

He wasn't playing all that well before the knee injury anyway.
