Baltimore's defense is a mess in the secondary. CB's have been hurt all pre-season, and the safeties aren't that great. AJ gets them deep at least once, and Andy finds a TE down the seam for another score.

Bernard and Hill team up to wear down the front 7, and the defense bends, but doesn't break too often. A lot of chump time yardage will make the stats/score look closer than it really was.

Let us now pray that Burfict plays next week and Eifert is back sometime this year. Watching a team where Jermaine Gresham and Rey M. are counted upon is painful.

Good gut-check game though..... They didn't quit.

No one had us winning this game and we gutted it out. As soon as our offense starts clicking, we are going to be very hard to beat. Dalton was solid, line play was solid... just couldn't put enough plays together to score TDs until the end. I still hate Gresham but Tate played well at WR. And our defensive line is just beastly, particularly when we need them to be. They held.

I know this was an ugly win but I think I saw a lot of promise today in this team...

There was a lot to like. Very few mental errors (if you don't count the usual shit from Gresham). Jackson has a nice plan - Dalton had a good mix of throws, none of which were dangerous. Jeremy Hill needs more carries - He runs hard. The defense wore down late, but made plays when they had to. There a lot different with Burfict off the field.
