After he is traded Simmons will shoot over 90% free throws against the 76ers, and 65% against the rest of the league.

Honestly, I kinda doubt that happens. It seems at this point he has no motivation. Maybe things will change with a new scenery but once you are in the same mindset for years and years, it is hard to change. The guy just has poor work ethic, if you can't shoot past 9 feet and you are an athletic wing there is something desperately wrong somewhere. To add to that point, we see he has some sort of a nice jumper from his pickup games so maybe what is worse is he is too scared to shoot.

If he was shipped to CLE:

1. He is friends with Darius Garland
2. If he ever left Dan Gilbert would absolutely tear him apart in a letter AND he has experience so this will be a better letter

I don't think Simmons cares what his value is, tanking it further does not impact him but hurts the 76ers. I think his goal in reporting was to expedite his exit, and I think he is doing that quite well.

I will take it a step further.

It is actually in Simmons’ best interest to further yank his own trade value so that the acquiring team has to pay less to get him.

And Philly had best keep this in mind.
