Yeah, very little tarnish. At the end of the day, winning > all else. Other teams should get better at cheating if they have a problem with it.

Thank God Pats are playing against a real good QB in SB. The 100+ point margin in 4 games vs Luck is boring ZZZZZZZZ just like last years SB with Manning. Why can't these 2 guys play under the big lights, mybe they should try getting hypnotized or heimlicked.

Brady very little.
Belichick definitely. He'll still be seen as one of the best coaches of all time but fatally flawed

Yep I can agree with that but what are we saying to our kids if stuff like this isn't punished? Ya son just as long as you win or pass that test cheat. Cheating is good...haha!

Agreed but I doubt Belichick cares if he's remembered at all anyway.

I still stand by that. No other QB in NFL history has won a postseason game where their first 10 balls hit the ground and threw 4 INTs.

And no other QB in NFL history finished a postseason game with a lower rating than that guy.

The D held the best offense to 16 first half points, even though their bus driver QB turned it over 4 times. Then the D held the pack to 6 2nd half points, allowed Wilson to play like an avg QB and win. Are you a seattle fan or wilson fan?

I'm pretty sure that every Seahawks fan knows that this was probably the worst game he ever played in his life. The only thing he has going for him is that he was able to keep it together, stay positive, and make some huge throws when the opportunity presented itself. And I'll give the Pack defense some credit as well. Peppers and Matthews are great players who brought their A+ game. They were in his face the entire game.

That's not correct. While Wilson's QB rating for the NFC title game was only 44.3 during SB XL Roethlisberger's QB rating was 22.6.

Thing is that Brady had to know the balls were different. Him and his receivers would have known. I mean it seems obvious to the Indy TE the first time he got his hands on one so you can't believe that Brady (who touches the ball on every play) wouldn't have known too. To me, if anything comes out this in the end, Brady will also be tarnished along with Bellichek.

.....but......but......those balls had no ~air~ in them when Blount ran for those td's,........*$niffl*.

......I thought each team brings their own balls when "their own offense" takes the field...?,......the colt's lb intercepted the pats ball and brought it back to his side-line.

They do and that's how this whole mess started. The Indy TE noticed the very first time he touched a Pats ball that it was fishy and gave it to the equipment manager who then reported it to the refs. If Indy doesn't get that pick maybe this doesn't even get caught.

Point being you got two teams playing but using different standards. Maybe if Luck and the Colts were allowed to use 2lbs less per ball they make more throws and catches too. Probably not, who fricken knows? But that is the problem now, people can ask those questions because the game was not played evenly it appears. Really, if Brady and the Pats claim there is no advantage then why do it at all?

Its cheating, as a Pats fan its crystal clear. Seattle got dinged for this about 10 years ago for cheating on this too. Packers openly state they over inflate the balls.

regardless, its cheating, and Bill does this w/o regard IMO, even tho its clear he has no need to

I don't remember Seattle getting caught doing this. Do you remember what the league did about it? Was it a fine or something? I'm drawing a blank on that happening.

The NFL's legacy is certainly damaged, from refs admitting it handing the Steelers SB's to refs picking up flags to this.

All starts at the top.

They also allow them to "treat" each balls surface. Some teams soften the balls, some put scratches on them. Why not just have the balls be in a common place?
