While the outcome of the AFCCG would've likely not changed, I think it's fair to say that the reputation of Belichick and Brady's legacy will be forever tarnished in the eyes of the majority of NFL fans. Sorry Pats fans....no amount of tears you use to defend your cheating franchise will change the opinions of anyone. This so-called "4th ring" Brady needs to become the GOAT is irrelevant now. This will ALWAYS hang over his head, just like Manning and his one-n-dones, in the GOAT discussion.

Both are going into the HOF...1st ballots more than likely.

In terms of their "reps"...I don't see this effecting Brady at all...BB, yes on some level (not an official level) his reps has been tarnished.

All I have to say to Jelly is.

:lol::lol:

You've been forever exposed as nothing more than a common web-troll. Scutter off into the gutter with your heros Manning and Luck; both of whom are excellent at CHOKING in the big games. No poise under pressure with the game on the line at all, unlike a certain 3rd round QB.

I still stand by that. No other QB in NFL history has won a postseason game where their first 10 balls hit the ground and threw 4 INTs.

Peyton was close with his 4 td/7int playoff run in SB win

Luck vs Wilson? It's not even close at this point.

Bellichek and Brady are 1st ballot Hall of Famers. Nothing has changed that.

Because most QBs would curl up in their pee hole and hide after that.

Russell Wilson acted like it never happened and threw for a 150 yards in the 4th and overtime.

Luck had another Andrew Luckesque performance.

Well he was right, luckily for Wilson that D held the packers in check.

Did the D throw for 150 yards in the 4th Quarter and OT? Did the D throw for 2 straight 35 yards passes in OT for the win?

Sort of on topic....

I guess the deflated NE balls were the reason that Luck choked the big D right? It's the only logical reason.

To the OP. Legacy is tarnished only if something significant comes out of this and the nfl actually takes action. If not, which is probably likely, their legacy won't be tarnished.

The D held the best offense to 16 first half points, even though their bus driver QB turned it over 4 times. Then the D held the pack to 6 2nd half points, allowed Wilson to play like an avg QB and win. Are you a seattle fan or wilson fan?
